About this projectFrequently asked questions
So what's the point of all this? To try out small positive changes in a sustainable way. The purpose of this site is to share what I'm doing and learning and to hold myself accountable. Isn't it all a bit navel-gazing? Assuredly. No one is pretending that the world will be improved if I only keep a journal for a month or whatever. I will attempt do a few challenges that may make our surroundings a bit better on a teeny tiny scale, but yes, I agree this site is self-indulgent. Or just maybe the internet would collapse without another personal blog propping it up. You decide. Hasn't this already been done before? Definitely. Every which way you look you can find one-week challenges, 30-day challenges, personal development lists, bucket lists, etc. Hell, Morgan Spurlock even made a TV show about trying something new for 30 days. And when looking around online to see who's done 30-day challenges before, I came across this TED talk with like, a zillion views. So yes, nothing new. What if you fail one of the challenges? I probably will get sick or lazy at some point. After figuring out what went wrong, I can either try it again, or pick a new challenge. Master list of 30-day challenges Do these things each day:
